As the demand for data centres increases, new global locations are being transformed into HPC hubs
Increased global connectivity to reach rural areas and cater to the demands of rising data traffic has led to an upsurge of data centres being built in new regions.
Data centres require a particular environment to thrive. Ideally, they should be in geographically and politically stable climates. Cooler environments have been favoured too in recent years due to sustainability initiatives to lower carbon footprints.
Infrastructure is essential too, with well-established networks, cable and dark fibre accessibility contributing to a more conducive environment.
